Crisis Ministry of Mercer County       Resource ID: 122

Category: Civil Rights, Social Action & Advocacy
The Crisis Ministry serves people from every Mercer County municipality. Our accessible sites serve neighbors in need through highly respected programs in Hunger Prevention, Housing Stability, Workforce Development, and, more recently, Driverís License Restoration.

The Crisis Ministry was founded in 1980 by the leadership of Nassau Presbyterian Church and Trinity Episcopal Church in Princeton as a community response to the economic recession of the time. Nassau Presbyterian Church provided space from day one. Our Princeton operation continues there and at two locations in Trentonís downtown and Chambersburg neighborhoods.
